Bullion Van Driver Flees with over N60m Bank money In Rivers State

An unnamed driver of a bullion Van containing bank money fled with over N60m of the bank’s money.

The money has been recovered however. The Deputy Commissioner of Police in the state, DC Uche Anozia disclosed that the monies were meant to be delivered to a bank in Port Harcourt.

The  driver of the bullion van however absconded after the first point of delivery.

According to Anozia, some useful information came in and they were able to recover the money.

The money was found in sacks inside an abandoned car parked in a supermarket in the GRA area of the city.

The driver is said to be on the run,  with the  police reportedly hot on his heels.
