October 11, 2016

The refuse dump abandoned in Owerri, Imo state to punish Governor Rochas Okorocha’s challengers has been cleared.

The smelly heap on Douglas Road was cleared by a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Honourable Ezenwa Onyewuchi.
The representative of the Owerri Federal Constituency cleares the refuse with the aid of other members of the Imo PDP.
Meanwhile, Okorocha’s Chief Press Secretary, Samuel Onwuemeodo earlier said that the heap was deliberately left on the road to punish residents who had challenged the relocation of a market.
Before now, Okorocha’s government had attracted controversy after the number of work days was reduced to three days in order to force civil servants in the state to go farming.
