President Muhammadu Buhari absent at daughter's wedding

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari reportedly did not attend the wedding of Fatimah, his second daughter to Gimba Yau Kumo in Katsina on Friday.
The bride has expressed great happiness and satisfaction over the turnout of guests at the wedding.
Fatimah who got married to Gimba Yau Kumo, a former managing director of Mortgage Bank, in Daura, Katsina state revealed that she was surprised with the turnout of guests.
The marriage was contracted in accordance with Islamic injunctions and was attended by top federal and state government officials.
Meanwhile, the wedding saw, Ibrahim Idris, Inspector-general of police; Muhammad Babandede, Comptroller-general of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS); Lawal Daura, director-general, Department of State Service, also graced the occasion and a host of other distinguished guests in attendance.
