AGF meets Buhari over probe of top govt officials
December 20, 2016The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami has met with President Muhammadu Buhari behind closed doors.
The meeting which held behind closed doors, is believed to have been motivated by the directive to probe top government officials in the Buhari led administration.
Sources confirmed the purpose of Malami's meeting as deliberation on on the directive to investigate top government officials alleged to have engaged in corrupt acts.
However, the minister did not answer questions from State House correspondents after his meeting with the president.
Two top members of Buhari's administration, EFCC boss, Ibrahim Magu and SGF, Babachir David Lawal have been indicted for different corrupt practices.
