States Ready to Compete For The Buhari National Open Water Swimming Championship

26 states have registered for the President Muhammadu Buhari National Open Water Swimming Championship.
This was stated by the Chairman, Organising Committee of the championship, Kabiru Gaya on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said that the committee was yet to decide on the number of athletes a state would feature but championship would feature athletes who are under-17 and above.
Gaya disclosed that the conditions, as well as the rules, for qualification and participation in the event have been made available to the states’ Sports Councils.
Meanwhile, this comes after the President, Muhammadu Buhari received the National Open Water Swimming competition trophy at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Dec 9 2016.
